VINTAGE INFANT OF PRAGUE STATUE
1963 Columbia Statuary, Made in Italy
Beautifully painted face with enduring eyes and
elegantly dressed, starting with a under gown of
pink brocade floral print edged in applied plastic flowers/beaded
band with lace. The top gown is ivory lace with embroidered grapes,
florals and large crosses. One large center cross is embellished with
clear rhinestones. The cape is a matching brocade with matching trim
and larger applied plastic flowers and beads. A fantastic gold filigree crown
with multi colored rhinestones with a removeable pink brocade
fabric insert. The statue is 15 inches tall, with crown is 18 inches total.
Comes with a white beaded chaplet.
The vestments are in excellent condition with the exception
of a few broken flower petal trim. T
he statue does have some
minor flaws: Chipped paint on the hair, small repaired chip on the
corner of the base, minor marks on the body and a small
hole near the side of the body. Could be from a air bubble
during manufacturing.
