Thaddeus Stevens 1838 Autographed Letter in good good condition. tears, small paper loss. 7 3/4" x 12 1/4". letter is to wm. morrison member of assembly dated harisburg feb or july 13 1838 and reads, dir sir, you left us a little to soon than we expected or their is quite safe for us. the resolutions have gone to senate and will come back amended by striking out the core resolutions _ as soon as you get back. this is possible ought to be soon or we shall be too late for the action of the u.s. senate. we _ not this until you return. we have sent express for you, although sorry to ask you to leave home so soon. your friend, thaddeus stevens. check out my other auctions. please visit my store.
