    Handwritten manuscript letter signed by Prince William Henry, Duke of Gloucester and Edinburgh. Signed "Yr affectionate uncle", though does not specify recipient any further. Dated 1802. Folded at center, blank inside. Measures 7.15" x 8.85" (while folded). Scarring to blank side where letter was removed from autograph album.
    From the collection of Captain Peter Johnston-Saint, who worked for many years as an agent collecting on behalf of Sir Henry Wellcome. This collection was purchased at the Sotheby's December 10th, 2019 sale.
