Gabriel and Mary at "The Annunciation" Vintage German Sculpture

Description

Here we have a truly beautiful statue of the Annunciation that I got from Germany a number of years ago. This is when the Archangel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would give birth to Jesus. This event is currently observed on March 25. It was very prominent during the Middle Ages and Renaissance, which can be seen by the clothes being worn by Gabriel and Mary. The figure is made of ceramic and measures 10" high, 12" wide, and 6.5" deep. It's quite heavy, which explains the shipping cost.
