Dayton Huffman bicycle pre war light weight 1938

Description

A really nice original paint Dayton Racer bike, which looks like it will buff out nicely. Pin striping on this is really great with red and cream or yellow. This bike had a 2 Spd originally and it was missing when I received the bike, I have since then located a complete wheel with shifter and cable; I dismantled the hub in order to unlace it from it's original wheel and haven't had time to go through it put it back, it's all there.
The seat I acquired also for it and wasn't there, a close if not original type that was most likely the one it. Pedals are also added and are black out Torrington 10, only set that comes close to era appropriate for this bike that I have.
Mismatched tires on the bike, front is like new, the rear is blown out, I have an extra decent tire that I will thrown into the deal, it's not a match but these tires in any brand are hard to find in 26" 1.375 size.
I did ride this bike as a single speed before the tire blew.
Badge is added also.
Not a perfect bike and some things are added, but a really cool bike that is not easily available for sale.
