Booklet, OUR NEW HOME, with illustrations, information on the new campus for HOOD COLLEGE, Frederick, Maryland. Hood College began with religious affiliation, now United church of Christ, as Woman's College of Frederick. In the 1890s and early 1900s the College received bequests for both acreage and dollars. In 1913 the name changed to Hood College in honor of and at the bequest of a major donor, Mrs. Hood. In 1971 it accepted male students. This booklet provides background information and narrative about the history of the College, including the architectural, landscape and other changes made to the college campus from 1914, including images of some of the buildings. It is printed on linen stock and measures, when folded, 6 1/4" x 3 1/4". It appears to have its original cord binding; some light wear on cover and along edges; small tear at upper edge of front cover. Domestic buyer pays .50 S&H.
