RARE Antique CHALKWARE FIGURE STATUE - BLESSED JOHN GABRIEL PERBOYRE (now ST.)
Antique end 19th / beginning 20th Century, French hand painted chalkware statue of Blessed John Gabriel Perboyre (now St.), dressed as a Chinese and with a long braid; chains on His ankles
and at His Feet a Cross and I believe the instruments of His martyrdom.  At the pedestal inscriptions in French meaning "Blessed J. G. Perboyre - Martyred the 11-7-1840" and "Augier - Paris". Please note it is a statue of very good quality and detail
Size: circa 6.18 inch = 157 mm high and 2.77 inch = 45 mm at the widest part //  Weight: circa 132gr
