Marija Pomagaj, is a Slovenian title for the Blessed Virgin Mary, which translates literally to Mary Help. This is a shortened form of the title Mary, Help of Christians.
If this title speaks to you and how you view the Blessed Virgin Mary, this hand-painted figurine of the Madonna and Child, which takes inspiration from the painting enshrined in Brezje, makes for a great reminder.  The Merciful Image was painted in 1814 by Leopold Layer.  Brezje became the main Slovenian pilgrimage centre after the first miraculous healings that occurred in 1963.  Since then, miracles continue to happen to many people who visit the Blessed Mother.  Mary Help of Christians has always accompanied Slovenians throughout history.  Every year, on the 24th May, thousands of people gather in the Basilica of St Mary Help of Christians of Brezje to pay tribute to Our Lady.
