    Description

On 6.25 by 9.25 inch official White House stationary, this old letter dated January 5, 1938 thanks Helene Vunovich of Oklahoma City for some stamps that she had sent to US President Franklin D. Roosevelt at Christmas time.. It is signed by hand in ink by FDR's private secretary "M.A." Marguerite "Missy" LeHand. Letters turning down autograph requests are quite common. MUCH less common is this letter acknowledging a gift to President Roosevelt.
Letter appears folded, nice and clean with good strong ink signature. Original envelope present but is quite tattered.
Nifty old political collectible. Take a look, we think you will LOVE it!!! Ask any questions. Buyer pays 6.50 shipping.  Thank YOU for shopping HERE!!!
